hello itziar,
Thanks for sharing your analysis!
Cmmenting on the “love is in the air” project by Cargo collective, you mention that there seems to be no audience except the person recording the performance. On the other sense, we could say the whole city, or at least all passers-by having a view on this rooftop from their position are an audience. Just by raising your head at the right moment, you can witness this poetic moment… The audience could be the whole city!
In such project, the way of communicating around it can make a big difference – is it publicly announced and broadcasted, or is it confidential? Communication can therefore become a whole part of the project…
In the mOOC you’ll discover another project located on rooftops, though with a very different relation to time : les veilleurs, by Joanne Leighton.
This is also a beautiful project it worths discovering!best,
camille
MOOC team – CamilleKeymasterDears,
many thanks for all the links and inspirations shared on this thread; it is really amazing to see this gathering of references on such different topics and approaches, all representing varied ways of working with the public space.
It’s hard to answer to each one of you, however what i can say is that in the upcoming days and weeks, we’ll think about the best ways of sharing all these projects and inspirations, so that yo can get access to it after the closure of this session. In this view it could be great to detail, when possible , the countries where are based the company and projects quoted/
thanks again, and keep sharing projects!!
Best regards,
Camille for the MOOC team.
MOOC team – CamilleKeymasterhello Ward,
thanks for sharing these links of your work and your inspirations! There are still few circus companies really working with public space so far, so you probably know French collective protocole?
