    FOR VERTICAL KATE

Your question: is a space never visited by humans a public space? is very interesting and poetical, and it reminds me the Wim Wender’s movie “Lisbon Story” (where a director try to making a film without looking inside the camera)

Type 1 : a bridge on the river
    Type 2 : a train station

Criteria: I have choosed two places where people can have free access, passing, waiting, meeting, starring, sleeping and doing so many things with no permission required

Definition: public space is a not private place where all the members of a community have free access in their ordinary daylife

(but, in a political way, public places are the spaces where people fight to asked social rights)
