In this video, Nana Francisca Schottländer explains her work in participatory and relational creation, and her focus on developing this with entities other than humans. In “Please Be Here Now”, to fight against our attention being captured solely by consumerism, she advocates for the shared exploration of the reverberations of a body that simply lives in a department store window. This body encounters people, honestly, outside of this consumerist agenda. To rediscover a personal experience of being in the world, she advocates for breaking the rules in public space.
