Discipline – Theatre, Movement/Dance, Acrobatics
Theme – Anthropology of Walking
Location – The performance goes through several locations which allows the audience to follow/walk with the performers when they are travelling from one space to another and sit/stand in a crowd in certain areas.
The Audience – are both bystanders/observers – maybe tourists (in varying ages, occupations) and at time (unknowing) performers when they walk with the artists as they move around the spaces.

B. (In)visible Dancing in Greenwich

Share some inspirations

Discipline – Dance, Music (Band, Instruments)
Theme – Freedom to Dance / Express Yourself
Location – The performances happen in five different locations in Greenwich (maybe simultaneously or at different times) and running for 18 days. Places include streets, parks, display windows, university walks that gather crowds.
The Audience – are passersby of varying ages and walks of life. The performances engages the audiences to participate and freely express themselves through dance or as viewers immerse themselves in the experience.

Hi. My name is Tanya and I am into theater, photography and museum work. We have a group called The Performance Laboratory which explores the use of space to explore different ways of engaging with an audiences through performances and multidisciplinary art. One of long running projects was an annual halloween interactive performance which utilizes the museum space after work hours.

I am inspired by the work of Marina Abramovic and her Method Space process.

I would like to learn more about performance and art in public spaces and being in this workshop encourages inspiration and possibilities towards the development of exciting and innovative projects..
