Market. Is a place where people could freely go to buy goods, interact with others and meet. All kind of social classes can cross it so it’s an interesting space that can generate cultural merging.

Pedestrian area. Is a place that has been converted in order to let people spend their time in many different ways. They don’t have to pay any kind of service in order to stay there and they can meet freely. Another interesting place of cultural merging

    Hello everyone!

    I’m Francesco from Barcelona, Spain.
I’m an actor, I studied physical theatre in Barcelona’s School of Dramatic Arts (Institut del Teatre) and I’m willing to share my experience in the theatre performance field. I’d also like to discover new ways of thinking the Public Space as a new element in my way of creating. I recently start to work on a piece that questions the way we see and experience our cities, that tries to discover new perspectives and new ways of understanding the structure of it, trying to develop the relation between arts and citizenship. That’s why I’m here. To enrich my vision, to share experiences and to get some inspiration.
When i think about arts in public spaces, my first thought goes to Rimini Protokoll – https://www.rimini-protokoll.de/website/en/videos
Here a link to their webpage in which you can find trailers/documents/reportage about their work.

Hope to get in touch with you soon!
